How does shipping work on Recast?
When your item sells on Recast, we make shipping easy. You’ll receive a prepaid shipping label via Sendcloud—just pack the item securely, attach the label, and drop it off at the selected carrier’s drop-off point.
Who pays for shipping?
The buyer pays for shipping at checkout. As a seller, you simply print the label and send the package—no extra cost for you.
Which carriers are available?
Thanks to our partnership with Sendcloud, we offer a range of trusted carriers depending on your location and the buyer’s. You'll see available options during the shipping setup and receive a label ready to go.
How long do I have to ship the item?
You must ship the item within 5 business days of the sale. If you don’t ship in time, the order may be canceled automatically and the buyer refunded.
How can I track my shipment?
Every shipment comes with tracking. You and the buyer can follow the parcel’s journey in the My Orders section of the app, and we’ll send status updates as the item moves through the delivery process.
What if the item is lost or damaged in transit?
Shipments through Recast are tracked and include basic insurance. If something goes wrong, contact us—we’ll help you report the issue and assist with the claims process.
Can I meet the buyer in person instead of shipping?
Not yet—local pickup is not currently supported, but we're working on it and plan to introduce it soon. For now, all items must be shipped using the prepaid label provided by Recast.
