How much does it cost to use Recast?
Recast is free to join, browse, and list items. You only pay fees when a transaction is completed.

🧾 Seller fees

• Free to list – There’s no cost to upload your gear and start selling.

• 3% selling fee – When your item sells, we charge a 3% fee on the final sale price (excluding shipping).

💳 Buyer fees

• 7% buyer fee – Applied at checkout to cover platform and payment processing services. This helps us keep the platform secure and running smoothly.

• Shipping – Paid separately by the buyer at checkout, based on the selected carrier and delivery method.

Where can I see the total cost?
Buyers will see a full price breakdown at checkout, including item price, buyer fee, and shipping. Sellers will see the 3% fee deducted from their payout after a sale is completed.

When do sellers get paid?
Your payout is released once the buyer confirms they’ve received the item, or automatically after a set number of days if no issue is reported.

Our small fees help keep Recast secure, easy to use, and fair for everyone. They cover payment protection, shipping tools, and customer support—while also helping us grow a community of anglers across Europe and the U.S.
