How much does it cost to use Recast?
Recast is free to join, browse, and list items. No listing fees, no hidden costs. Just pay when your gear sells.”
💰 For Sellers:
Free to list – There’s no cost to upload your gear and start selling.
3% selling fee – When your item sells, we charge a 3% fee on the final sale price (excluding shipping).
Example:
Sell a rod for €100 → You keep €97.
🛒 For Buyers:
7% buyer fee – Applied at checkout to cover platform and payment processing services. This helps us keep the platform secure and running smoothly.
Shipping – Paid separately by the buyer at checkout, based on the selected carrier and delivery method.
Example:
Buy an item listed for €100 → You pay €107 total.
Where can I see the total cost?
Buyers will see a full price breakdown at checkout, including item price, buyer fee, and shipping. Sellers will see the 3% fee deducted from their payout after a sale is completed.
When do sellers get paid?
Your payout is released once the buyer confirms they’ve received the item, or automatically after a set number of days if no issue is reported.
